From Zero to Viral: How I Used Generative AI Videos and Niche Targeting to Reach a Million Views

In my recent social media journey, I hit one million organic views across 10 different pieces of bespoke content by leveraging generative AI videos and targeting niche audiences. As a creative partner with AI companies like Higgsfield AI, I’ve had access to a range of cutting-edge generative video platforms, which helped me test and iterate rapidly.

Even though I had a bigger follower count on X, it was on platforms like Threads and Reddit where I started with just a small base that engagement soared by 500 to 1000 times. One post on Threads alone was seen 185,000 times and received over 14,400 likes. By crafting fun and engaging content, like my talking baby video that went viral on Facebook with over 2,200 likes and 170,000 views, and tailoring each piece to the right community, I was able to double my following on Threads while avoiding the typical “AI slop” backlash.

I also experimented with cross-posting across Meta’s ecosystem — Threads, Instagram, and Facebook — to understand how each audience reacts. The differences in engagement were massive, but the insights were even more valuable.

I created this video as I began connecting with the Threads community it was shared in the Canadian thread and quickly gained traction.

Reddit has been such a pleasant surprise highly engaged users have been sharing thoughtful feedback and even asking for workflow tips.
